Who this policy covers
This website is operated by Pedro Martins. This policy covers nikuscs.com and private, personal-use tools operated by Pedro Martins that explicitly link to this policy. Those tools connect to the operator's own accounts for personal productivity, development and automation. They are not offered as a public service.
Products and third-party websites linked from this site are not automatically covered by this policy. Their own privacy policies apply. For privacy questions or requests, email hi@nikuscs.com.
Visiting this website
You do not need a Google account or Google authorization to read this website. Hosting and delivery providers, including Cloudflare, may process your IP address, request URLs, browser information and technical logs to deliver pages, prevent abuse and diagnose problems.
The website stores your theme preference in your browser's local storage. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data. Pages may load Google Fonts or third-party embeds. Those providers receive the connection information needed to serve their content and apply their own privacy policies.
Comments use Giscus and GitHub Discussions. If you choose to comment, GitHub handles sign-in and stores your contribution under its own terms and privacy policy. Comments and your associated GitHub profile may be publicly visible. Email you send to the contact address is used to handle your message and any follow-up.
Google account access
Personal tools may use Google OAuth to connect Gmail, Google Drive or another Google service needed for a configured task. OAuth grants permissions without giving the tool your Google password. The Google consent screen identifies the requesting tool and the permissions requested. Access is limited to the permissions granted and the task configured by the account owner.
- Account information may include an account identifier, email address and profile information used to identify the connected account.
- Gmail permissions may allow access to message contents, headers, recipients, attachments and labels. Sending messages or changing mailbox contents requires the relevant granted permission and a task configured by the account owner.
- Google Drive permissions may allow access to file names, metadata, file contents and folders. Creating, modifying, sharing or deleting files requires the relevant granted permission and a task configured by the account owner.
- Other Google services are accessed only for a specific configured feature, using the permissions shown during authorization. A new use outside this policy requires an updated disclosure and any necessary consent before it starts.
Authorizing one tool does not grant every project on this domain access to your Google account. Simply visiting this website does not connect your Gmail or Drive.
How connected data is used
Connected data is used to carry out tasks chosen by the account owner, such as searching or organizing email, working with documents, and running personal workflows. OAuth access tokens and, where needed, refresh tokens let a tool perform those tasks and keep an authorized connection active.
Google data is not sold, used for advertising or used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. If a configured workflow needs an external processor, including an AI service, the account owner must explicitly enable that processing. Only data needed for that task may be sent, subject to Google's applicable policies. This policy alone does not authorize a transfer to an external service.
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage, sharing and security
Depending on the configured workflow, tokens, settings, downloaded files and task outputs may be stored on devices or infrastructure controlled by the operator, or processed by providers needed to run that workflow. Google account data is not published on this blog as part of connecting an account.
Access to connected data is limited to the operator and service providers needed for the authorized task. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address security incidents. Human access to Google data is limited to the account owner's authorized use and the exceptions permitted by Google's Limited Use rules.
Appropriate safeguards must protect account data and credentials, including access controls and secure connections. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy does not claim that any particular tool has passed an independent security assessment.
Retention, revocation and deletion
Tokens are retained while the connection is needed. Cached Google data and task outputs are kept only for the configured task or the account owner's chosen records, unless a legal or security requirement justifies further retention. The retention period depends on the tool and workflow; there is no single retention period for every personal project.
You can revoke a tool's access through your Google Account's third-party connections. Revocation stops further authorized access but does not automatically erase previously downloaded files, task outputs or backups. Remove those records through the relevant tool or contact hi@nikuscs.com to request deletion. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires.
Your choices and rights
You can browse without connecting a Google account, decline permissions and stop using a connected tool. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal information, request portability, or withdraw consent. Contact the email above to make a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including Portugal's CNPD.
Where data protection law applies, processing relies on the relevant basis for the activity, such as consent for an optional connection, legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, or a legal obligation. These personal tools are not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. A new use of Google data that needs additional disclosure or consent will not begin solely because this page has changed.
