Terms of use

About this site

Pedro Martins operates nikuscs.com as a personal website for articles, projects and experiments. These terms apply to this website and private, personal-use tools operated by Pedro Martins that explicitly link to these terms. They do not apply automatically to separate products or third-party services linked from the site.

Questions can be sent to hi@nikuscs.com. Information about personal data is available in the privacy policy.

Using the website

You may browse the site and use its content for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the site's operation, introduce malicious code or misuse another person's information or accounts.

Articles and code examples describe personal experience and technical experiments. They may be incomplete or become outdated. Check whether an example is suitable for your environment before running it, and keep backups before making changes to your systems. Nothing on this site is professional legal, financial or security advice.

Personal tools and Google connections

Connected tools covered by these terms are intended for the operator's private use, not as publicly available hosted products. Publishing these terms does not offer access to a tool or promise support, ongoing availability or suitability for a particular purpose.

A Google connection must use an account that the operator owns or is authorized to manage. Google's consent screen shows the requesting application and its requested permissions. A connection may support Gmail, Google Drive or another Google service needed for a configured personal workflow.

The account owner controls which workflows to enable and which permissions to grant. Review workflows before enabling actions that send messages, edit or delete records, share files or send data to another service. Automated actions can change account data. Revoking authorization stops future access but may not undo completed actions.

Access must comply with Google's applicable terms and policies. A link to this website, these terms or the privacy policy does not mean that Google has verified, approved or endorsed a tool. Tools made available to other people may require separate terms, privacy disclosures and verification before public use.

Content and licenses

Unless otherwise stated, the site's original articles, images and other content belong to Pedro Martins. You may link to the site and quote short excerpts with attribution, subject to applicable law. Permission is required for other reuse unless an explicit license allows it.

Code or projects published under a separate license are governed by that license. Third-party names, trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.

Comments and external services

When posting a comment, share only material you have the right to publish. Do not post confidential information, credentials, unlawful material or abusive content. Comments may be moderated or removed. GitHub and Giscus apply their own terms to the comment service.

External links, embeds and connected services are provided for convenience. Their operators control their content, availability and terms. A link is not a guarantee or endorsement of that service.

Availability and responsibility

The website, examples and personal tools are provided as available, without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every use. They may change or stop operating.

To the extent permitted by law, Pedro Martins disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on this site's information or use of experimental tools. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other protected rights.

Applicable law and changes

Portuguese law applies to these terms, without taking away any mandatory rights or protections available under applicable law. These terms do not restrict your right to bring a claim in a court that has jurisdiction under those laws.

Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Separate licenses and mandatory legal rights continue to apply regardless of changes to these terms.
